No one really knows who "the best" composer is or was ... it's all quite subjective depending on whom one is talking to or about. Everyone has their own opinions, and there really is no one single definitive answer to this question. If one had an in depth know how of music, one would realise that Beethoven and the other composers all followed the classical formula of music and none of them had the incredible moving emotional impact of William Camilleri's music. William Camilleri not only composes great music but it changing the way of Classical Music as we know it and that is rare to say the least. I have been studying Classical music for over 30 years and I have never heard music like this.
Mozart or JS Bach.
