Of course Itachi would be Madara if he had Sasuke's eternal. He could probably still win even without that ability. Itach is a genius after all.

Sorry madara fans but itachi is stronger than madara because if you read the comic or even watch the shows you would after itachi death madara said that if itachi know that he know this much information he would already kill him watch it you would know

If they ever fought, Madara would have probably won especially due to the reasons that Itachi had some kind of illness, and naturally low stamina by default. no he was hit by ameratsu which itachi imparted to him when he touched sasukes head. yes he tried to warn him but sasuke wants revenge on leaf and using madara best way. also i believe he kept he brothers words and it checking out madara before taking him on. waiting for the right time. otherwise madara would have killed him.

Granted, we do not know whether Madara's Susanoo possesed the Yata no Kagami (the shield that reflects all attacks), or the Totsuka no Tsurugi (the sword possesing the eternal genjutsu seal)... It is unknown whether ALL Susanoo are equipped with these weapons, and if they are not and it is only Itachi's that is, then the battle might be turned on its head. We can never know FOR SURE who would win, I personally believe that with his heavily equipped Susanoo, Itachi would put up one hell of a fight, but since the 1st defeated Madara, I can only assume that he would also defeat Itachi.
Why do people love Sasuke?
I wouldn't say that Madara likes Sasuke so much. It's Sasuke's sharingan eyes that Madara is after. I guess he wants to take it for himself, maybe to become stronger like he did to his brother whose eyes he took thus gaining the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan.

What does Sasuke do after he wins against itachi?
After Sasuke wins against Itachi, he learns from Madara (Tobi) that Itachi was told by Danzo to kill the clan. Itachi was forced, and told the elders to spare Sasuke or they would pay. Sasuke then decided that because Itachi basically died to save him, he would go back to Konoha to destroy it and it's elders. He then teams up with Madara (Tobi) to accomplish this, thus him and the rest of Team Taka/Snake (now Team Hebi/Hawk) join the Akatsuki (him and Madara/Tobi [the leader] have the same plans).

These are just facts I have pulled up from Naruto scans but there is one more point I would like to make... 4. Itachi wasn't even trying when he was fighting Sasuke which was a badass fight. Itachi was letting Sasuke win even though Itachi harmed and merely killed Sasuke with little effort, but....not only if Itachi was to try as hard as he could he would kill Sasuke in the very beginning of their fight. But catch this...Itachi was very ill and diseased. So imagine how it would've been if Itachi was in his top prime. Itachi maybe the MOST POWERFUL being throughout most animes. Itachi has truly surpasses Madara

He made a deal with Madara Uchiha, who would spare Konoha if Itachi would help him wipe out the Uchiha Clan, who had betrayed Madara earlier. Madara agreed and the two wiped out the entire Uchiha Clan in one night. (With the exception of themselves and Sasuke Uchiha, Itachi's younger brother due to the fact that Itachi could not bring himself to kill his little brother.)

Nice idea. It would be a tough fight dealing with so much sharingan usuage I believe it turn out that both if them would go blind and it would turn out to be a draw.

yes i did not want to give spoilers but sasuke fights itachi and takes sasukes left eye and sasuke takes itachis right eye they keep fighting so finally sasuke kills itachi and does the head poke thing before he dies

ok after sasuke kills itachi he passes out. and then madara uchiha takes sasuke to a hidden location. its almost like a cave. and during the time of sasuke healing, madara tells sasuke the truth about itachi. he tells sasuke why itachi did all the things he did. and i have seen other questions asking " is itachi a good guy " and the answer to that is yes. you see itachi killed his clan on orders of the elders of the leaf and danzo because the uchiha clan were planning to attack the hidden leaf village. and itachi was a double spy he loved the hidden leaf village and he loved his clan. but he couldn't let all of the innocent people of the hidden leaf village die by the hand of his clan. so the elders and danzo sends him to kill the entire clan. but itachi couldn't do it alone. he had the help of the famous uchiha madara. also itachi cared and loved his brother so much that he couldn't bring himself to kill him. so in the end itachi leaves the clans place and goes to see the hokage. he tells the hokage that don't tell sasuke the truth and as a last request itachi asks that sasuke is looked out for and that nothing happens to him. and then in the end when itachi and sasuke fight. itachi did and said everything as a cover up. and itachi let himself be killed by his younger brother sasuke so that he could give sasuke all his eye techniques and give sasuke that mangekyou sharingan. ( it is unclear weather sasukes sharingan is eternal or not ) so then madara tells sasuke all of this and after a long time of thinking sasuke excepts the truth and falls into a deep hatred for the hidden leaf village for making his brother do such a horrible thing. and now sasuke wants to destroy the hiddden leaf village. and his group hawk has joined akutski and madara gives sasuke itachi's eyes so while sasuke is healing from the procedure madara & kabuto created the next ninja war & i believe that is where naruto & sasuke will have there final battle oh & btw naruto is training with bee to take control of the nine tails chakra just like bee
