Smart contractors already have the forms and paperwork ready. Send a letter, then a certified letter, then drag him into court. You can't get blood from a stone, but if he won't pay he isn't ever going to be your customer anyway.

Once you do it you will see how it works. Sometimes you can't get money now but your legal standing will prevent the sale of the house until you get paid.

But do something, otherwise you're just a slave...not a businessman.
