The Flintstones were originally intended to be a stone age cartoon version of Jackie Gleason's "The Honeymooners" but they exploded into an international sensation that is as popular today as ever. The Flintstone babies Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm make a cute costume. Pebbles can be made with a t-shirt altered the same way as Fred's but with a V-neck. Wearing a pony tail and holding a rattle will easily distinguish you from her dad. Bamm-Bamm doesn't wear much besides a spotted loin cloth and a sideways Baseball cap, so go to the supermarket and ask the butcher for a large cow bone for a dinosaur style club.
Flintstone friends Barney and Betty are the easiest to do. For Barney a burlap bag with the arms cut out and a V-neck laced with strings works with a blonde wig if necessary. A Betty costume is pretty much the same as a Wilma one, except Betty wore blue instead of white and her hair is a 1950's style black bob that you may have to go to a hairstylist to recreate.
