Note: this does not tell you which speaker wires are which or which ones are positive and negative. This should be made obvious by the wiring harness when purchased. This is to give you an idea of how the subwoofer is wired in the center consol and what all the wires in your dash do. I was trying to rewire my stereo and couldn't find a wiring diagram so I asked the question and answered it myself. After ripping apart my Wrangler I found this wiring scheme... this is with the subwoofer in the center consol... RADIO PLUG While looking at the radio wiring harness strait on, positioned as it is ready to plug into the radio, you will notice two rows of connectors. Starting from the left, the top row has 5 utalized connectors, 3 with no wires, and 3 more utalized connectors. The bottom row is the same. The connectors on the left side (top and bottom) are both grounds (black) and should be tied together. The connectors on the far right side are 12 Volt on steady (yellow) (top and bottom) and should also be tied together. Out of the All the connectors on the left side that are being utalized, the far left 2 were grounds. The other 8 are speakers. 2 for each speaker, 2 front, 2 rear. (Note: Stereo speakers run to the sides of the dash and roll bars as well as to the center consol for the subwoofer. All 8 speakers run to the center because the subwoofers processor is designed to process the sound of all the channels. If you are not getting sound out of some speakers, it is possible to have a short in this consol.) Go to the connector on the bottom right. Move one connector left. This connector next to the bottom right is the Power on (red) 12 Volt connector. This supplies 12 volts when the car is turned on. Got to the connector on the top right. Move one connector left. This connector next to the top right is the amp power on. Your radio amp power on output 12Volt should connect here. If you have no amp power on for your radio, Connect it to the (red) 12 stereo power on connector dirrectly below it. This will turn the amp on with the radio. We have discused all the wires on the right being utalized except the 2 closest to the middle. The top... ? I don't know. The bottom (I believe) is the dimmer for the radio light. SUBWOOFER PLUG When the plug is facing you and there is a plastic connector piece off one side facing down, you will notice two rows of plugs top and bottom. The 8 connectors on the right side are for the speakers as follows: Subwoofer plug Speaker section Stereo plug Speaker section Top right sub plug = top left stereo plug Top middle right = top middle left Top middle left = top right Top left = top middle left Bottom right = bottom right Bottom middle right = bottom middle right Bottom middle left = bottom left Bottom left = Bottom middle left Out of the four on the left, the top left is ground. The bottom left is 12 Volt power on steady from fuse in glove box. Remove the Subwoofer fuse and this power goes away. Top right of the four is a blank that is not used and the one below it is the amp power on (12 volt) that comes from the stereo plug (next to top right) as discussed above. Hopefully this will save someone the trouble of removing their center consol like me.

you need to have long skinny arms and the right extension, ratchet, and socket for the tough job to get at them.
Considering that the whole front clip has to come off to do it, maybe $300 or so give or take about 50%.
No it does not...it has an input for the optional CD Changer in the rear of the car.
