Paula Cracker was 2-D's first girlfriend at the time he joined Gorillaz with Murdoc (2-D was the first one Murdoc recruited to join Gorillaz.)
So naturally Paula joined the band too. But, not long later (when Russel joined the band) Russel found Paula cheating on 2-D with Murdoc. (Murdoc and Paula where having an 'intimate moment' in stall 3 of the bathrooms in Kong studios and Russel walked in on them)
So, Russel (being 2-D's 'right hand man') broke Murdoc'ss nose, and they quickly kicked Paula out of the band. Then in Japan, 10 year old Noodle, saw an advertisement that said, "Gorillaz in need of a new guitar player, hurry we've already had tonnes of auditions."
But Noodle could tell, if they were advertising in Japan they must have been pretty desperate. so, she shipped herself there in a Fed-ex crate and when they asked her questions, she couldn't speak any English except the word 'Noodle'. (that's how she got her nick name.)
They were about to send her home when they actually heard her play an expert guitar solo. So that was when Noodle joined the band and has been in it ever since. So no, Paula and Noodle are not the same person.

A cracker person is a derogatory term used to refer to individuals who break security systems or hack computer networks without authorization. It is similar to a "hacker," but with negative connotations.

In Florida, "cracker" refers to Floridians who were born and raised in the state, and whose families have lived there for several generations. Thus, "cracker vote" refers to support from such long-term Floridians. A 'cracker is also a derogatory term for a 'white person' so a cracker vote can also mean 'the white vote', or the 'white trash vote.'
The phrase originally was an insult. It compared the way that a person who is considered a simpleton wags their head around while thinking, to a noodle flopping around.

The Christmas Cracker originated from Germany. The Germans had a old tradition that on each Christmas Eve each person would first sniff a cracker of choice, then drop in a cup of animal blood. That night they would then eat the animal that the blood came from, and then in the morning they would eat the cracker. So this eventually evolved to the now-a-days Christmas Cracker.
