30 seconds to mars - great band. The band was formed in 1998 by Jared Leto and his brother, Shannon. Jared Leto, the lead singer, born in Bossier City, Louisiana, was also an actor, so some people say this was his vanity project. But anyway, the band with just the two of them, Shannon on drums, started out as a small family project. Matt Wachter later joined the band as bassist and keyboard player. Later Tomo Miličević joined the band. Not so long ago, Matt Wachter left the band and is now a member of Angels and Airwaves. 30 seconds to mars have so far had two albums, the first self titled and the second called 'A beautiful lie'which has many of their most famous songs on it such as 'Attack', 'The Kill' and 'From Yesterday'. 30 seconds to mars - great band.
