By ballads here we mean songs, lyrics which Shakespeare intended that someone should set to music and sing. So there is no sense listing speeches drawn from the plays such as "All the world's a stage" or "Over hill over dale, thorough bush, thorough brier" which are meant to be spoken not sung. Nor is it of any use to list sonnets or other pieces of poetry. We are talking exclusively song lyrics here. And here is a selection of songs from Shakespeare's plays:
