If you are thinking of the same one as I think you are, Britney Spears, Hit Me Baby One More Time... If not, I'm too young to know! :p
That song hooked me too! I'm pretty sure that's Etta James singing on the Cingular commercial. The song is titled "Loving you More Every Day" and is on the Essential Etta James album.
I actually found the answer via YouTube - It's a song from the movie: Mireille Mathieu - A Man And A Woman

The song was given to a band in the 60s-70s named Dawson, the song was not complete and they wrote the bridge and the majority of the lyrics. Due to issues with their manager the band recorded the song but was never released.
The "turbulent" 60s. Remember the Beatles song: "Ya say ya wanna have a Revolution..." History has chosen both the 19th & 20th "60s" to be Americas worst times. 1. Two presidents shot in both 60s (Lincoln & Kennedy) 2. A divided nation in both 60s (Civil War & Vietnam) 3. Civil Rights movements in both 60s (Emancipation Proclamation (Civil War) & Martin Luther King (Vietnam War). 4. Draft riots in both 60s (Civil War & Vietnam) 5. And by a strange coincidence both assassinated presidents were replaced by a vice president named JOHNSON.

Ruthie Morrisey This is a real song - we had the 45 but long lost- from 50s or 60s. I can hum it. Funny don't remember quite the same lyrics - 'in the fire light the stars will be bright back to my home in the county Mayo.' But who knows the other lyrics may be correct

There are plenty of candidates for that title, but for shock value at the time of its release (late '60s), "D.O.A." by Bloodrock has to be high on the list.

The song "South of the Border" was famously sung by Frank Sinatra in the 1960s. It was originally written by Jimmy Kennedy and Michael Carr in the 1930s, but Sinatra's version helped popularize it during that decade. The song reflects a romanticized view of Latin America and is known for its catchy melody and nostalgic lyrics.

It is from 10CC. The song is called , "I'm not in love" I think the song is from the seventies. "Dream Weaver" by Gary Wright. Also, the lyrics are "...big boys don't cry..big boys don't cry....."
