An Audacity project of audio recording and the data folder files have several 1MB files with au extension name that will not open?

No, these are all the files you change while editing the song. Audacity compiles them into a folder only it can read. If you want to make the song play in Media Player, go under the main file and choose Export to WAV (or MPEG of you installed LAME).

Steve Perry did several live interviews in 2010, the latest I heard was in November, in which he stated he was currently recording some of his new material. I wouldn't be so quick to write him off because of age or hip replacement as his last release was in 2008. That's only three years ago and from the footage I have seen of him at the Giants games he looked very much alive and well! Great musician, Beautiful man!
