John was assassinated in 1980 by Mark David Chapman, and George died from cancer. Paul and Ringo are still alive and still playing music.

Back in the days of The Beatles there were rumors going around that Paul was dead. Rumors started from the song "Strawberry Fields" at the end of the song, Lennon states that "i buried Paul" and also on the abbey roads album there were many unusual signs leading that Paul was really dead.

this is all a conspiracy and i highly doubt it is true.

Two of the Beatles are still alive. Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr [which is surprising because he was the oldest in the band]. John Lennon died because he was shot four times in the back. [the fifth one missed.] And George Harrison died because of cancer. [which is surprising because he was the youngest one in the group.]

Harrison blamed the cancer on his smoking habit, which was very likely the cause

Harrison's last words were 'love one another'
