Yes, they are very nice people. However they do cuss a lot.
Most fans that got to meet them all say that the members are very nice and aren't snobby to their fans like most other famous singers and band members are.
Also, on many interviews Synyster Gates states that most of the bands that they toured with in the past weren't very nice, but snobby to their fans, and didn't seem like they appreciated their fans. However he said that's why Avenged Sevenfold isn't like that.
And according to Zacky Vengeance, their fans are very important to them, and they try to be nice all of them.
