Probably, but for sure, you are going to burn your lips!
You answered your own question - in part. The part of the saxophone that you blow into is called a mouthpiece. There are many different brands, makes and models of mouthpieces. They can be very expensive. The small piece of cane on a saxophone mouthpiece is called a reed. Reeds are also available in various brands and strengths to choose from. Adolph Sax considered the saxophone both a "Brasswind" (Instruments made of brass) and a "Woodwind" (wind instruments that are blown and are not considered brasswinds). When a conductor asks for the "Reeds to play" he/she usually intends for the woodwinds to respond. So sometimes the term "reed" is confused, since it is synonymous for the cane on the mouthpiece or the slang used to distinguish a group of instruments. The other important part of the mouthpiece is called the "Ligature". It is the device that holds the reed in place - again there are many makes and models to choose from for this device. A saxophones mouthpiece, reed and ligature all effect the sound the player will make. Most Jazz Pro's refer to these parts together as their "set up".
This is really simple! First put an ice pack or a napkin of ice on the place where the mouthpiece and receiver connect. Leave it there for a little while. After 5-10 minutes start turning the mouthpiece counter clockwise and it should come out very easily. If this still does not work use a lighter and very carefully hold it under the receiver. Then twist and that should do it. make sure not to melt your receiver and to wash it afterward. If it still does not work your mouthpiece has been severely jammed and you will have to take to repair shop to get fixed or use a pulling machine. Hope this helps!!!!!!!!!!!!
No they aren't a trumpet is a musical instrument, a trampoline is a "device consisting of a piece of taut, strong fabric stretched over a steel frame using many coiled springs."
I assume that you mean the Jamestown Settlement of 1607. Any number of period instruments could have been played there, but the colonists certainly would not have taken large instruments on the long, arduous sea voyage. More likely small instruments, such as violins, lutes and small wind instruments were played. A trumpet mouthpiece and part of a flute (recorder type) was found during one of the archeological digs. However, the trumpet of the time was not like today's trumpet. It had no valves, and was not always used for music. In such a setting it was more likely used as bugles were used in the military - a signaling device.
The word trumpet comes from the 14th century and is a variation of the word triumph. Throughout history, trumpets have been associated with three things: signaling armies, splendorous music for royalty, and in religious rituals. The main purpose of trumpets in the 14th century was as a signaling device to convey orders to soldiers in the midst of battle so that the army could triumph over their enemy.

The trumpet acquired its folded form in the 14th century. It was known as the "natural trumpet" and was known to produce melodic tones. It is strongly believed that the trumpet was used as a signaling device in Greece and Ancient Egypt.

I would never intentionally use a device that had been damaged by a short circuit if there was physical damage to the device such as melted metal or insulation, pitting or general oxidation of the contacts.
Data Doctors' data recovery takes files off a damaged device, such as a hard drive or flash drive, and copies them onto a new, working device. Data recovery can be needed for any number of reasons such as failed or damaged hardware or accidental deletion of files.
