i think it depends on how much confudents your daughter has my older sister was also 11 when my mother told her to ababy sit me. but my sister already passed her babysitting course. just try it out and see how it goes hope this is helpfull.

Write letters, make a copy, and mail them with delivery confirmation. Printout the confirmation from the USPS web site and attach to copy for filing. If the father intercepts the letters, you can show the copies to her when she reaches 18.

it depents if you can trust that child. If you think there up to it you should let them baby-sit. I would allow somebody to baby-sit at the ages 13 or older.
