No way ACTUALLY, as weird as it sounds, there have been studies regarding people who shower using "city water" (high in chlorine) while washing with the newer anti- bacterial soaps. The ingredient in the soap mixes with the chlorine and produces an unhealthful gas. Really! Experts say antibacterial soap screws up our natural body chemistry and people should use good old PLAIN soap. HONEST!! I agree with answer 2 from a physical point of view and from a psychological point of view if it is an obsession it could be bad for you. all are so close, but...
If you use a louffa <sp> or antibacterial soap every time you shower, you are more succeptable to getting skin diseases than someone who doesnt. The reason for this is because you not only kill any bad bacteria, but the good bacteria as well, leaving your skin with little or no protection. Its the same concept as using poison on your lawn to kill grubs. You kill the grubs, the Spiders and the earthworms that are beneficial to the health of the lawn. So, you have more harm than good.
