Some do, some don't. You should have a button on the top if the seat back if it will lay down. One on each side. You should also be able to tell by looking at the seat back from the trunk. Actually, from what I've found out on the internet and around from fellow xrs owners, they do NOT fold down, hope this was helpful.

When I replaced my antenna, I used the Haynes manual. The connection is down by the fuse box on the driver's side to the left of the brake pedal. I had to fish the new wire down the hole until I felt it come out of the bottom. I might work better if you attach a string to the old wire before you pull it out. Then attach the pulled end of the string to the new wire to help guide it back through down to the fuse box area. , good luck.
I think you mean won't back down? And pink sings in the chorus and Eminem raps
When I drive my Corolla 93 1.8 DX and slow down on a speed bump on a road, I hear a squeaky sound coming from the front and rear shock absorbers/struts. Does my car needs lubrication or oiling in those areas. When there is a pot hole than there is no sound at all. The only sound that comes out is at the speed bumps when car springs/struts shrink or expand. It looks like dryness feeling from those areas. It mostly happens when its cold. It is doing like this since last winter but I didn't had any problem. Its just annoying. Do I need to replace the struts or absobers? or is there any way I can lubricate it? Please help. Thanks
is your toyot a saloon or estate and what year
Stand in the back of your Corolla and push down on the farthest place back you can get a good push. Push down HARD, all your weight. The car should go down, come back up and stay there. If it bounces back down at all, the shocks need to be replaced
There should be a pull tab at the bottom in the middle of the seats. But most of the corollas dont have fold down seats in the back for some reason.
The VE Corolla does not. All others do.
The best motor oil for a 1998 Toyota Corolla is Castrol GTX 10W-40. It will help cut down oil consumption.
You just pull the seat up. To put it back in, just put it in place and push it down and should clamp in place.
set your mileage on your actual mileage reading, not a setting measuring your trip. Keep hold down the button until it resets itself.
I believe they are all Toyota, base off the Corolla, just rebadged as a Geo, then Chevy. Reanswered by b_radical2006: a geo prizm is the same thing as a Toyota corolla the only difference is the name and a few down grades from a corolla like interior and engine power and the bumpers.
depends, if it is an SE the back seats probably do not fold down. if it is an LE or any other one there are pull knobs that unlatch them from the trunk. this is based on a 1997 model.
You have to reset the computer
you look where the seatbelt touches the ceiling and pull it down
Yes. My 2006 Toyota Corolla S has two levels to release the back seat in two parts. Open the trunk and the lever knobs s are attached to the roof of the trunk, almost sticking out so you can see them. I guess we never noticed because, 6 years after we bought the car, the new-car plastic wrap covering the knobs is still there.
