The best way to meet Rick is to buy a sound check meet and greet pass from his Official Merchandise site http://www.rickspringfieldmerch.com/ It's $300 (good price in comparison to other band's/artist's meet and greets) and you get to watch him and his band do sound check playing 3 or 4 songs and then Rick spends time with everyone (max 15 people) getting pictures and Autographs. Well worth it compared to others who do this. You can also buy a VIP pass for $750 which will get you seats ON the stage (the side) to watch the show and then go backstage after to meet him. The only other way backstage apart from winning a local contest is to purchase a guitar at the merchandise table for $500 (cash only) which will get you and a friend backstage to have Rick sign it and take photos.
