I have a good friend in Northern CA who worked for Fender and quit. Their expectations are way too high and they will push you way too hard. This was coming from a very bright and motivated guy who is very successful.

If you are looking at buying a fender guitar then look at a Mexican or American stratocaster. That is one of the best guitars that fender makes and the best places they make them.
