no the screw holes are different sizes and the nails are different lenghts u'd prlly not go deep enough into the board and it would snap the neck when u tune eventually.
every guitar is different the Razorback I owned was one "heck" of a guitar and the neck was perfectly straight for over 6 months, Dean is just a waterslide decal on the head of the guitar, just keep in mind we pay for what we get. the only thing to look out for is don't buy set neck guitars because weather they are gibson or walmart guitars they break more than any kind of neck. I've had a great experience with Dean and hope you have the same, I like BC Rich more but the quality of Dean guitar necks fretboards on a 1500$ Razorback (new) I've yet to play anything better and believe me I've played a lot more guitars than the average person who reads or "improves" this
sort of. Dean was qouted as saying " everybody has a little larceny in them". He claimed to have stolen a neck tie or 2 while buying his suites.
To distinguish a Spanish heel neck from a dovetail neck on a guitar, examine the neck joint. A Spanish heel neck features the neck carved from the same piece of wood as the body, creating a seamless transition without a visible joint. In contrast, a dovetail neck has a separate neck that fits into a joint shaped like a dovetail, typically visible at the body where the neck meets. Additionally, the Spanish heel often results in a thicker body at the neck joint, while the dovetail may allow for a more pronounced neck angle adjustment.

The neck is where the fretboard is located. The closer to the body a string is pressed, the higher the pitch of the note.

A set neck guitar is one where the neck is glued in very carefully instead of screwed on as in bolt on necks. A neck through is one where the neck is actually part of the guitar body.
There are 3 regions of the body: Appendicular, Trunk, and Head and Neck Therefore the head and neck is actually its own section.
Nape is the back of the neck
