Hmm... interesting question. I am going to go out on a limb and say yes, assuming of course that you are referring to stickers and decals, or maybe some metal bling screwed to the guitar... I don't know, but I'm sure if you want it there, you can put it there, as long as you are not interfering with several factors:

  • Don't place things that affect the string vibration, the pickups that detect them or the bridge and nut that sustain them.
  • Don't place things on the fretboard that may interfere with finger to fret placement.
  • Don't place objects on the body that inhibit the wood from annotation quality or objects in the hardware recesses.
  • Don't place things on the headstock that are in the way of machine heads or items to compromise the position of the strings from the nut to tuners.
  • Don't remove things to place other things there.
