You can get an effect box that modulates your voice so it sounds like you're using a talkbox, but it won't sound quite the same. You'll just sound like a robot. Here's how a talk box works: it has a speaker at one end of the tube. When a signal travels from your guitar or keyboard or whatever, the speaker emits the same frequency of that same pitch (note). The pitch travels through the tube and into the back of your mouth. When you talk, sing, or even open your mouth, your voice will be at thesame pitch as your instrument, hence creating one of the coolest effects ever made. A voice modulator is just a cheap imitation.
