While it's possible that the heater core is leaking, it's probably a hose. Are you certain that it's coolant? When the AC compressor is on, either during the summer or when the defroster is running, you will get condensation dripping from that area. it is a large coolant leak. just not sure what line it is coming from.. there is alot of lines in the leak area. can the core be taken out under the dash or does the dash have to be removed. thanks for the help
Back near the fire wall on the passenger side Edit: Actually, it is located near the firewall, but not the passenger side. Its in the middle closer to the driver side. That is, if its the 5.2L. I'm not sure of other engine sizes.
Poor starting due to over rich mixture (hot engine) Poor starting due to weak mixture (cold engine) Cooling fan(s) coming on when the engine is cold Sensor can be checked using an ohm meter if you have the data.
My 1987 jeep had a similar problem. the wire leading down to the crank sensor (necessary for the engine to develop spark) was damp and grounding against the firewall. Tied it slightly away from the firewall w/ a tiewrap, and never had problem again (previously the dealer had replaced the crank sensor twice without the problem correcting itself)
yes justin does like wearing checked shirts and usher wad the oe who got him into it !!
Make sure that all the boxes next to the songs are checked. Un-checked songs will not play automatically, only manually. Make sure that all the boxes next to the songs are checked. Un-checked songs will not play automatically, only manually.
The coolant level is checked at the coolant tank in the passenger front corner of the engine compartment . The coolant level should be up to the cold mark when the engine is cold . The radiator should be full so its covering the top plate .
Have you checked the cars thermostat?
you prob need to have your coolant checked out because when you work your engine the coolant is what keeps it at a good level so you should have the mixture of coolant to water checked out it should be 50/50

Have you checked the coolant levels or the cooling fan?
usally 5 years but should be checked monthly
I have an 87 Chevy truck and it is located under the hood on the passenger side a few inches below the windshield. I have a Haynes and a Chilton book for this and they both show the same position.
The automatic transmission fluid dipstick is near the firewall , towards the passenger side of the engine in the engine compartment . The manual transmission fluid level is checked underneath the vehicle at the transmission fill plug
On a 1992 Ford Explorer : The automatic transmission fluid dipstick is on the right side ( passenger side ) of the engine , near the firewall ( the manual transmission fluid level is checked at the fill plug on the transmission , underneath the vehicle )
You need to explain more on where exactly the coolant is leaking. There are several possible reasons why your coolant is leaking. If it's from your main hoses that lead to and from the engine or radiator, you need to check the condition the hoses are in. If they're in a decent condition, it's not that. If it's leaking around where the hoses are connecting, it's probably not tight enough, or there is possibly a clog in your coolant line. Also get your radiator checked. If it's leaking into the passenger compartment, it's most likely the heater core.
The radiator cap could be the cause of coolant reservoir overflow or backup. Have the cap checked to see if it is bad.
The sensor may be defective/broken. I would have that checked or replaced.
