(D1-)B♭1-E5(-C7) (I assume you mean octaves?)
What this boils down to is 3 octaves plus six additional notes using "full voice". The notes in parentheses are his lowest note (using the vocal "fry" register), and his highest note (using falsetto/whistle). When including those registers, he has nearly 6 octaves of usable range, but these are not factored in when determining his true vocal range. (Keep in mind that these are simply the extremes of what he has hit over his entire recorded career. I would seriously doubt he has ever hit both of those notes in the same day) A vocal range featuring 3+ octaves of FULL voice is fairly rare. (Most classical/Opera vocalists don't use any more than 2 and a half octaves) I'm also thinking that his vocal type is "low baritone"; essentially a baritone with a more powerful/extensive lower register, akin to a bass. (He may just be a standard baritone though) Hope this helps!
Directioners are around 13-18. That's the ages of the majority of Directioners.
It depends. If you're currently before puberty, your range should be around 1-1.5 octaves if untrained. A trained pre puberty voice should stretch slightly further to around 2-3 octaves. If you've been through puberty or are currently going through puberty, like me, you should have a similar range if untrained but a larger range if you're trained. Don't take this as the gospel as there isn't really a normal voice range. I based this on previous experience and the experiences of my friends from choir. Hope this helps!!!!
