Traffic School is the best way to get a ticket erased.....
Traffic school or not you will still have to pay for the ticket. The reason people want to do traffic school it removes the ticket from the driving record. The cost of tickets vary depending on where you live and if it was a city or state officer that gave you the ticket. On the back of the ticket is usually instructions on what to do, so follow those instructions. Reasonably you should expect to pay a couple of hundred after the cost of the ticket and traffic school. If your state allows it you may be able to do traffic school on line from a list of schools they have approved.
A traffic violation that is not on the books and the Traffic Enforcer witnessed something the violator did that was/could have been a very dangerous traffic move, therefore a traffic ticket is issued.
There is a statute of limitations in the state of North Carolina of two years. After the time period has expired, the traffic ticket could be excused or passed to collections.
i just got this same ticket the other day. i am 18 and need to know how this will affect my insurance. i was going 81 in a 65 but all the traffic around me was going the EXACT same speed, if not faster. i still don't understand how i got the ticket, but i did so i have to deal with it. how much will my insurance increase? would it be worth it to take it to court or to just pay the ticket and take traffic school? could i be denied traffic school because i was 16 over?
If you pay a traffic ticket late, spending how late, you may have a warrant issued for your arrest. You will probably incur a fine if it hasn't been very long.

You could request it. Providing you hadn't been to Traffic School for that same offense previously, the judge may allow it.
Maybe to get the ticket off. I had a ticket several years ago and the state had a window that I had to meet to get the ticket off my record. Traffic school could help bring the insurance down a bit, maybe.

Traffic School??In most states traffic school is offered as an option and most of the time if you go through with it the court agrees to take the ticket off your record upon completion. As far as the violation goes, it is a moving violation and it will count as a point, just like a speeding ticket. Such a violation could also raise your insurance rates as well not to mention go on your driving record for at least 3 years. If this is your first ticket in the last 3 years and have no other previous violations or accidents, I wouldn't recommend traffic school personally, but that's just me. If you're real particular about your driving record or just don't want a ticket period, go to traffic school.
As of August 16, 2011, I went to traffic court at the West LA Courthouse for a 'no right turn on red' ticket and paid $298. This includes the traffic school fee. Have not paid the online traffic school course yet but I know that is around another $20. Also paid $5 in parking at the West LA Courthouse. Going to traffic court was the worst experience of my life. In LA county it costs $159.+$40 in traffic school fees. And if you fight it and win they'll take $10 for "court fees"...
A traffic ticket could raise your insurance rates. It won't raise them right away, but may come into play when the insurance is being renewed.
There can be a few times when it is better to contest a traffic ticket instead of paying it. One of these instances could be when a person feels like an officer issued the ticket when they weren't supposed to. A person could feel this way if the ticket was issued because of being caught in a speed trap or when the officer was deliberately hidden.
No you couldn't unless you just had to pay money and not go to jail, could you help me on this question? How many cities and towns are there in Texas?
