This may not be what you're looking for, but I know of a website called 'Ministry of Information' (see, e.g., http://www.ministry-of-information.co.uk/setlist/) that tracks this information for Jethro Tull. It's 'unofficial' in the sense that I don't see any band-related endorsements or confirmation of the information contained therein, but it looks quite complete and is consistent with similar information posted on the band's official website. They identify a total of 3,041 (including those currently scheduled through the end of 2007). That's a frightening number of concerts; I can't think of or imagine any bands that would even come close, even the GD. Maybe King Crimson would be another contender? In any case, I doubt there's any one central repository of such information. You might have to cobble it together from the fan sites of various bands. Could be your claim to fame! Seems to be niche there.. Hope this helps, and best of luck in your efforts!
