No it is not true. This question is actually sparked from a rumor dating back to 1994 when Aaliyah released her debut album 'Age Ain't Nothing But A Number.'

People kind of took to attention, because she was the protege'e of well-known R&B babymaking-crooner R Kelly himself and because he wrote most of the material on her debut album, even producing much of the beats used for her songs;

people began to speculate the two had married [disregarding the fact Aaliyah was only 15 at that time and R Kelly was 27]. Because of that all kinds of rumors started surfacing, almost to the point where it would have ruined Aaliyah's career before it had even really took off.

With the marriage rumor, we all know when people think of marriage they think of the couple having kids or the woman going into pregnancy during the first few months or so.

But it is all false. They were just on a professional level and Aaliyah was never pregnant.
