I don't think so. A guy named Andrew Strong recorded Mustang Sally in '91 on a soundtrack called "The Commitments" and he sounds a lot like Joe Cocker, but that's the closest I've heard.

Has Creedence Clearwater Revival ever recorded the song House of the Rising Sun?

No Creedence Clearwater Revival didn't record The House of the Rising Sun. The version that is most often miss-associated with them was the version recorded by the Animals. There are many MP3s that were mislabeled. The previous answer said that it was in "Creedence Collection Vol 2" which was not an actual album. It was the equivalent to an MP3 "mix tape." Other notable songs on this "Creedence mix tape" included "Old Time Rock -n- Roll" which was actually Bob Seger and "American Woman" which was actually the Guess Who. What style of jazz is the song 'Mustang Sally' by the Blues Brothers?

Originally 'Mustang Sally' was a hit by Wilson Pickett in 1966. It was a part of a genera of music commonly called 'soul music' or 'R&B' ( rhythm and blues ). A Wikipedia search for either will link you to a wealth of info on the subject. A bit of trivia about the songs 'Hold On, I'm Comin' and 'Soul Man' by the Blues Brothers. They were first recorded by Sam and Dave, who shared the same record labels, recording studios, and studio musicians as Pickett.

What are the popular baseball songs?

There are very few. It would be difficult to fill a conventional record album of say 8 cuts. let us try. Take Me out to the Ball Game ( l908), Talking Baseball ( Belmonts- in the seventies or early eighties), Yankees variant of above song ( two different versions), Yankees theme song, Mrs. Robinson ( alludes to Joe Di Maggio but song is not really about baseball, seems to be about a woman contemplating suicide). Center Field by Creedence Clearwater ( and by the way it is NOT Cadence clearwater) as I stated there are very few, discounting sub-song jingles such as (Beat the Mets).
