It has been said he was in rehab for brief stints, but they were very private. I believe he wanted it. He needed it bad. He had so much pain in his last years he took drugs to kill the pain, but it wouldn't work. Very sad.

Tom Colonel Parker made Elvis sign a 5 year contract which would involve doing 2 shows a night for 5 years, To keep Elvis going he game him paracetamol which unfortunately Elvis was unable to stop which lead him to death.
