Johnny Cash stars in a brand new Applebee's advertising campaign in 2002 for their brand new offer Fire Grilled Favorites. The commercial opens with Johnny Cash in a voiceover saying "If you got a burnin' hunger, you'll fall for Applebee's Fire Grilled Favorites". The Applebee's Fire Grilled Favorites 15- and 30-second spots will begin airing on broadcast and cable networks this week.
The multimedia Fire Grilled Favorites campaign features the entire brand of Applebee's favorites, like the new Smokey Chicken Platter, which is available for a limited time, the Cracked Pepper Porterhouse, and finally, the Southwest Steak Skillet. The 15- and 30-second spots are set to Johnny Cash's classic 1963 hit "Ring of Fire".
