The couple planned for an August 22, 2009 wedding.

However, the engagement was terminated in December, after Murphy claimed that Thiessen had been unfaithful.

Yes, sadly :( according to Shannon he did 4 times and she could not deal with it anymore so she ended the engagement. Matt Thiessen then isolated himself for 3 months to write his 6th-full lengh album in Winchester, Tennessee.
