when michael was young (like around young preteen-teen years) he belonged to the jackson 5. they would travel to night clubs and talent shows to perform and arrive home around 2:00 in the morning. that left him pretty tired for school but he still tried hard! GO MJ!!!!!! Yes

No, Sadly he did not have a childhood, His father Joseph was blown away by the idea that his children had real talent and he wanted them to be famous so they could get out of Gary,Indiana. Michael started practicing at the age of 5, so he didn't have time for fun. With Joseph it was just work work work. Michael even wrote a song called "Childhood" and it's so touching.

You should see "The Jacksons; An American Dream" you will understand EVERYTHING! It's hard to watch though, Michael suffered a lot.
