She got shot in one of her main arteries, and in her run from the attacker, she lost more and more blood. When she made it to the lobby she was still bleeding out, and at the hospital she was pronounced brain dead after taking a look at her injuries. Her artery was severed by the bullet and her veins began to collapse. It is extremely tragic that such a beautiful and talented young woman had to lose her life at the hands of a monster who was obsessed with her.
