No. Steady B, born Warren McGlone in 1969, was sentenced to life without parole for his role in the murder of a Philadelphia police officer during a botched bank robbery in January 1996. McGlone was charged with second-degree murder, bank robbery, and grand larceny, and found guilty on all counts on October 30, 1996.
Christopher Roney (aka Cool C), an associate of McGlone's, was given the death penalty for first degree murder, but received a temporary stay of execution in March 2006. He is still on death row, but no date has been scheduled.
A third person involved in the crime, Mark Canty, was also sentenced to life in prison.
