Today Sir Paul McCartney is a very wealthy man. Forbes magazine estimates his net worth at around $650 million. Every year, McCartney earns almost as much from another song, "Wonderful Christmastime," as he does from the entire Beatles catalog.
Although it is very sceptical to some people, there is allot of evidence that backs up the death of Paul McCartney! I am a believer from watching and reading up on the evidence. Here is a documentary about it:Paul McCartney Really Is Dead: The Last Testament of George HarrisonI truthfully am not sure if the tape on this video was made by George Harrison. But lots of the evidence shown is very valid. The government Strongly acknowledging the fact that if the crazy fans of the beatles were aware of there death that suicides would rapidly happen. To prevent this the government thought of a solution. A look alike contest was held and the winner was William Campbell. The government with his agreement had many surgeries to change the facial features on him to look more like Paul. This man Lives today as Faul: (False Paul). Hints were given out in song lyrics, album covers, and album names. This is something u will have to assume for yourself. I recommend watching the movie (It is instant queue on Netflix) and seeing for yourself.

Actually, I think you are probably referring to a song from (I think) 2009, entitled "Man On The Run" by Dash Berlin, featuring Cerf, Mitiska, and Jaren. That's Matt Cerf (producer), Shawn Mitiska (producer), and Matt's wife, Jaren, as the vocalist. There is a song from the early 1970's, "Band On The Run," which was performed by Paul McCartney & Wings, not McCartney on his own. The title track from that album is probably the song that the first respondent was thinking of.
