Did the band Hank Ballard and the Midnighters at one time have a member named Joe Bailey?

I have looked at material listing all groups and their members from 1945-1965. Found no one with the name Joe Baileyor no one with the last name Bailey. Even though listings end at 1965 there are entries beyond that year. There were many changes within Hank Ballard and the Midnighters band. I am a close friend of one of the remaining members of Hanks band and he says he doesn't remember anyone with the name Joe Bailey. At this point he knows of only two living members of Hank Ballards band.

He says that there are royalties to be paid on recordings from previous years to 1988.

The problem with paying royalties on material recorded in England is the way the performance contract was written between the bands management and English music licensing.
