Yes
he is the greatest living songwriter influencing almost all songwriter/musicians who came after, the beatles included, and all 4 beatles themselves are on record as saying how much they were influenced by the great man .
Although many will say the Rolling Stones, they were good friends. The Beatles even gave them their first big hit with "I Wanna Be Your Man" (the Beatles later did this song themselves on Meet the Beatles). I would say that Elvis Presley was very 'anti-Beatle' (If that's what you mean). He hated these guys and even went to Richard Nixon and asked if he could get them off the charts! So I would say that Elvis Presley was the anti-Beatles.
Watch eBay listings. Major auction houses: Southerbys, Butterfields & Butterfields. Be careful, there are a LOT of forged Beatles items. The Beatles themselves used to sign for the other Beatles as well. An authentic signed poster (if one exists, as I've never seen one) would be worth tens of thousands. If someone is selling one for $500 or something - it's most likely fake.
The name "Beatles" stood for both the insect, and the beat of their music. The name was inspired in part by Buddy Holly's Crickets. The band themselves stood for peace, love and understanding.
The BeaTles.
Yes. It was a 1968 animated musical film. It featured the music of The Beatles & the band themselves in animated form but The Beatles did not voice themselves but appear at the end of the film in real life.

It is not known who influenced Ringo Starr, but since he was the last person to join the Beatles, it could have been the Beatles themselves who inspired Starr.
Officially, when they called themselves the Beatles, and not the Quarrymen, or the Silver Beatles, the line up was John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Stu Suttcliff, and Pete Best.

The Beatles split up the first few pressing amongst themselves. From what I recall, John claimed #1 or #9 for himself :) Other copies went to friends of the Beatles, or handpicked reviewers and jounalists.
George Harrison's "Taxman", from Revolver. The line refers to the 95% income tax bracket the Beatles found themselves in, during their peak years.
Paul McCartney was a member of the Beatles, from the time the band gave themselves that name in 1960, until 1969, when the band broke up. The creation of the Beatles' Anthology in the previous decade was a brief reunion of the then remaining three Beatles. In many minds, once a Beatle, always a Beatle.
They stopped touring in 1966. ALL their new records had promotional campaigns.
