Not really, though some jurisdictions will stop trying to collect, or declare on amnesty on tickets on a specific time frame. There really is none. A traffic ticket does not expire and is not subject to a statute of limitations. The statute of limitations is to prevent one from being accused of a crime when the witnesses may no longer be available and defense difficult. In this case, you have already been notified of the violation and have not defended against it in the time allotted. A traffic ticket is a notice of violation.
Depends on which country you live in!!
It seems from my own past experience 5 years.
The Statute of Limitations does not apply to traffic tickets. You have received appropriate notice of the violation and decided not to fight it. The money is a valid debt and needs to be resolved.
This was answered in another post, but i will post again and say that most tickets that are unpaid do not just get forgotten. A warrant can be issued due to tickets that are unpaid. I have arrested several people that have had warrants for failure to pay tickets. Usually you will be let go as soon as the ticket is paid. If there were a time limit then everyone would just not pay and wait it out.
No. The POINTS you get erase off your driving record if you haven't re-violated in 7 years, but if you haven't paid them, the tickets don't go away. If you have unpaid moving tickets I'm surprised that your license hasn't been suspended. Are you SURE that it hasn't?
Michigan has no statute of limitations on traffic tickets. Once the citation has been issued notice has been provided.
Contact your local DMV and get a copy of your record.

Unpaid traffic tickets are not reported to the credit bureaus.
It sometimes happens if the tracking system is changed. But there is no expiration on the tickets.

Yes you could.

Yes, it can. All states exchange information on unpaid traffic tickets, and you can be suspended in your home state for not paying an out of state ticket.
There are a couple of penalties a person can face for unpaid traffic tickets in Virginia. The person may have their license revoked or their license suspended.

There is a statute of limitations on unpaid traffic tickets in BC of five years. This can be renewed if the city attorney wishes to extend the limit.
