An eight year old is big enough for a regular set. I would suggest a regular set indeed.
because the beating of the drum sounds like your heart beating and to play the drum, you need strength.
Drums must not exposed to rain, snow or hail. Also, having drums in direct sunlight can damage them. Wind and dust will deteriorate the condition of a drum or drum kit. If you need to play the drums outside, it is alright if you are playing under some kind of shade or in sunlight, providing the sun is not too hot at the time and it is not for too long. If you have to leave your drums outside for some reason, try to keep them under roof at least and have them covered properly with a waterproof tarpaulin. Keep the cymbals in your bedroom.
Its hard to understand what you mean, so I'll sort of post a bunch of ways to make a drum louder.Adjust the drum's tuning, or change the drum head to a different type.Remove any sort of dampening on the drum (tape, drum rings, moongels) to let the drum ring out more).Change your grip from traditional to matched grip.Or simply just hit the drum harder.
18 pieces? Even with two snares (one off one on) and double bass drums, you would still need 14 toms to make an 18 piece drum kit. Remember, pieces does not refer to the cymbals, percussion pieces, and hardware. Only the drums. I don't think you can even buy 14 Pearl Export toms of different sizes.
ELECTRIC DRUMS ARE NOT FAKE DRUMS! They are exactly the same as acoustic with better sound and less equipment to handle. They are great for beginners because they are small and cheap. They also never need to be replaced! They are also great for experts because the more advanced sets have a program where you can record and mix the beats you make. They are perfect because they can be quiet when you need them, and loud whenever you. My advice for any drum buyer is to go electric.Electric drums are not fake drums, there are a lot of reasons to buy them:you have moody neighbors and want to play late at night or early in the morningyou really want to record onto a computer in a slightly better quality, but you could just use a muffled microphone (worked for me)you already have a good acoustic drum kit.You have bad resonance in the only area that you can put your acoustic.Electric drums kits are not more for pop to be honest, you can get pop/rock/fusion/metal acoustic kits if you want, but standard ones normally it depends on tuning and the way you play also. buy acoustic... unless any of the those reasons apply to you. :)Electric drums are not "Fake" drums... they are a tool that allows a different medium to a drummer... they are not used exclusively for pop...my advise is to get an acoustic set first though, electric drum sets can be complicated but have way more options and customizable sounds then an acoustic drum set, but are not meant to replace an acoustic kit.... example, i can set my electric bass drum to do a walking bass pattern, but not my acoustic set...get an acoustic set first.I actually disagree, electric drums are sometimes cheaper and they have many more uses and the sound doesnt bug out on you like some drums, and it also doesnt wear out and you can also record songs with it. I would say electric have surpassed acoustics in every way.It all depends on your purpose and your preference.
I need a drum in order to play the drums. Why do you need a drum?
because the beating of the drum sounds like your heart beating and to play the drum, you need strength.
It depends what type of drum it is because some drums you need to hit with your hand and some you need to hit with drum sticks
The rear drums only drag cause they need to be adjusted or the drums are bad
Pearl drum is a drum retailer that sells many different types of drums. They offer customers different types of drums, and all kinds of different recommendations for accessories they might need.
When the drum broke it was suffering and was in need of some TLC.
no. you can use the guitar for drumming as it uses the same colours. you can also use the microphone by beatboxing to create drum noises which the gam transfers as drum beats.
Inside diameter. You will need to remove drum to do this. Take the drums to your local auto parts store, they can measure them with a micrometer and let you know if you need new ones or not.
u just need the cantroler to the mic the drums and gutar u just need to push the buttens on gutar and hit some thing on the drum
No. You can use any mics in theory, but obviously dedicated drum mics are better. Check the web (How to record drums} and you'll find more advice and recommendations than you'll ever get through in a lifetime {grimtraveller}.
