Not really. Dorothy has brown hair and alice has blonde. but they do look similar in some ways.

In Gakuen Alice (Academy), Mikan Sakura, Natsume Hyuga, and Ruka Nogi, plan to go to the Z's Hideout and get medicine for Hotaru Imai and get Tobita Yu's Alice back. (Tobita Yu is also known as Inchou or the class representative) That happens in the Volumes 6,7, and 8. You will see Mikan Sakura, Natsume Hyuga, and Ruka Nogi look older in Volume 6. But their mission continues in volumes 7 and 8. Hope that Helps!
