they are similar, they are both German bands, they both sing in English (although tokio hotel also sings in German), they both speech German as their 1st language, and they are boy bands. but they have a lot of differences too. tokio hotel is much more popular then cinema bizarre. they also have different styles of music, cinema bizarre being more techno and tokio hotel more rock-like. cinema bizarre however has recently split up, and is no longer a band.

Fans of both bands often presume there is a rivalry between the two bands due to frequent comparisons but no such animosity exists. actually they have met before at 2008 comet awards. there is a pic where u see bill tom and romeo . they have met before. www.Flickr.com/
