Matt does not believe in god. In fact he disses god in the songs Megalomonia and Fury. (I"m not going to change your answer) but Megalomania doesn't diss god. I could see how you interpret "What were we built for, will someone tell me please" I think he's more talking about how he over sees society and thinks its just useless and he wants to see purpose.

Absolutely not. He is very atheist, is wife Fiona Maria Procter from Uruguay was baptized when she was a baby, but doesnt follow the religion and is an atheist the same as matt
