Taylor Alison Swift knew she was destined to become a country/pop artist when she attended a Leann Rimes concert as a pre teen. She was inspired by the country singer and knew that's what she wanted to do. So much that Swift and her parents picked up everything and moved to Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 11 to pursue her dream. Little Swift walked into every record label and handed them a demo CD and said "Hi, I'm Taylor Swift and I would like a record deal." At the age of 13 Taylor snagged a gig at the world famous "Blue Bird Cafe" in Nashville. A man who was planning on starting his own record label "Big Machine Records", noticed this little girl could pack a punch and asked Taylor if she would join "Big machine Records". She accepted and was signed by age 14. Taylor, now 21, clearly is so thankful and seems to enjoy every single day of her blessed life. Just listen to her songs Long Live, The Best Day, Ours, Mineetc.
