Does anyone have a wiring diagram for an Oldsmobile Silhouette drivers side heated seat Mine stopped working and you need to trace down the wires Thanks in advance?

Go to your local GM dealer and if your real nice, one of the tech's will let you make a copy of the wiring diagram from his tech manual. The Hayne's manuals that you can buy on e bay or auto zone also have electrical schematics but from my experience are not always accurate. The heated seats in the Silhouette were prone to failure from side seat flexing. Your's probably doesn't work because the heating element itself is damaged. The new replacement elements do not cover the side seat area, do not flex, and therefore will not have this failure. I have been told that the upper heating elements are OK but are wired in series with the bottom element. If one open's the circuit then neither one will heat. Good luck.
