What is a male falsetto voice called?

In singing, you have ranges called your Chest Voice and your Falsetto. When you use your chest voice you are singing in a comfortable range and you have a lot of power behind it...It isn't very airy. When you use your falsetto, you are singing a note that is in the higher range of a scale. Your tone is very air filled. It comes out quietly and airilly. :) hope that answers your question.

What type of chant involved the singing of many pitches to one syllable producing an ornamental musical effect?

The art of singing multiple pitches simultaneously is practiced by Tuvan Throat Singers. It utilizes overtones in the voice to create high whistle-tones at the same time as singing a voiced note.

What are some good singing tecniques?

There are a vast amount of singing excercises you can do to improve your voice. Breathing plays an EXTREMELY important part in singing! Try picking a note and then, while standing, sing the note for as long as you can, first getting louder gradually, then getting softer. Do this 4 times a week and time yourself each time. You'll find it works a charm! Then theres increasing your note range try singing some scales... Depending on your preference to sing higher or lower increase or decrease pitch of scale... do try notes that you find difficult but do not stretch your voice too far as it can lead to loss of voice or even severe damage of vocal chords... Singing should not be forced it should feel comftorable...

Which note is the highest note sung in the Phantom of the Opera theme from the movie version made in 2004?

The note at the end of the song is written as high E (the E above high C, which is two octaves above middle C), however it is sometimes lowered to high D, or high D flat, due to the possible strain of singing such a high note repeatedly.

How do you tell if you have a good singing voice?

People will compliment it often, and your voice won't crack when you sing a high note or if you have a great low voice and hit those ecspecially hard notes to get. Just never drink milk before singing because it clogs your vocal chords.

When singing a note that is high for a woman is sung in head voice but this note is in normal chest voice for a male I don't understand how this is possible?

When a mixed choir is singing in unison, the women (with certain exceptions, such as female tenors) are typically singing actually an octave above the men. So if the group starts up a C scale, the sopranos and altos are starting from middle C while the tenors and basses are starting from the second space of the bass staff. High C and High D are going to be high notes for altos, while Middle C and D are not high at all for tenors, and are manageable for basses..

What voice type does Rick Astley use in never going to give you up?

He is singing in a baritone voice range. I don't have access to software that will allow me to give high and low notes in terms of scientific note notation(pitch is often modulated in a studio), but from the tone and color it seems like he is singing in a mid/lower baritone range... in terms of fach he might be a dramatic baritone.

Can A single human voice is capable of singing harmonies?

Well, I don't know if a single human voice can is capable of singing harmonies, nor do I know if a single human voice is capable of singing harmonies, but a single human using only his vocal tract can, in fact, tap into harmonic overtones, effectively singing more than one note at once. This is "overtone singing," as in Tuvan tradition. I don't know shite about music, though, and I'm just rattling off something I read.

Is it a key change when your voice goes from low to high in a song?

As always, in music, the low and high of all the notes. it's understandable that from low note to high note, you have to change the key.
