Guitar sheet music is called "tablature" or "tabs" and is most ofter written as numbers from 0-24 (for each fret on the neck) along 6 horizontal lines symbolizing the 6 strings of the standard guitar. The bottom line symbolises the low E string on the guitar, and the top represents the high E string. (EADGBe in order from bottom to top in standard tuning).

There is a site called sparksheets.com and they have free sheet music. It is a very simple process. In order to order sheet music you have to earn points and you do so by making an account and completing a survey. The site was specifically made for people who do not want to give out person information or have to use a credit card. Making an account only requires a name and email address. Surveys normally award 10-20 points after completion and sheet music generally costs about 100 points. It is a simple process and the result is you receive FREE sheet music. This process is also legal and doesn't break copy writing laws.

If they don't have what you are looking for they encourage that you send them a suggestion of new sheet music via email and they can find it for you. Hope this helps. Good luck!

A way that you can find free music and chords is if you are looking for a song type in the song and what instrument it is for. Or if you just want sheet music you just type in free piano sheet music. I recommend the search engine Yahoo because it gives you more choices of links to choose from. Good luck!
