The energy of infrared waves is greater than the energy of radio waves. This is because infrared waves has a smaller wavelength compared to radio waves. The smaller the wavelength, the higher the energy.
The electromagnetic spectrum includes visible light radio waves and infrared ultraviolet and x-rays.
The radio spectrum for communications spans approximately from 150 kHz to 26 MHz. The visible light frequency range is at least 400 THz. No contest -- visible light is at least 15 million times higher in frequency. Energy = Planck's constant * frequency. Hence visible light carries a higher energy.
One uses infrared light and the other uses radio waves. Hope this helps!
yes
Because the X-ray has a shorter wavelength (kuch shorter!) the energy is much greater in an X-ray. Therefore with a bigger energy, E = hv would calculate a higher frequency for x rays. As the eregy of a wave increases, so goes the frequency. Actually, it probably should be stated the other way, but I still have answered your question
Waves with lower frequency: for example radio waves.
Frequency, Length, Energy.
Radio, microwaves, radar, and infrared radiation have.
Long wave radio, short wave radio, microwave radio, heat, far infrared, near infrared, ultraviolet UV-A, ultraviolet UV-B, high energy X-rays, high energy gamma rays.
infrared and radio :)
All electromagnetic energy (radio, light, X-rays, etc.) do the same.
Radio waves have longer wavelengths than infrared waves.
Radiant energy is made by electromagnetic waves, including visible light, infrared radiation, ultraviolet radiation, and radio waves.
Examples of electromagnetic energy are radio waves, Xrays, optical light waves, infrared waves, sunlight and lightening.
The electromagnetic spectrum includes visible light radio waves and infrared ultraviolet and x-rays.
Infrared waves produce heat when the interact with normal matter, so most people would say they carry heat. In fact, infrared radiation is electromagnetic energy, as are ultraviolet, visible light, radio waves and others.
