I do know however that they are genereally less deep than classical guitars, for a quicker response and have less sustain and have lower action, slightly thinner necks and tighter strings... I'm not 100% sure but I know flamenco guitars are always acoustic and have nylon strings instead of steel ones. I think flamenco is mainly a style of guitar playing.
