Not sure exactly what you are asking, but Babette is the french doll in Marcella's nursery.
Not sure what you're asking. Here are two possible answers. Many of the 1960s Barbie coloring books, paper dolls and storybooks by Whitman were drawn by Al Anderson. Pop artist Andy Warhol did a painting of the 1985 Peaches N Creme Barbie doll.
It may mean that the doll is from an early or original production run of that particular doll. Not all dolls have the artist mark so it is not an indication of authenticity nor is it an indication that it is an older doll made by Pleasant Company (vs. the newer dolls by Mattel). My daughter got her Saige doll back in January when she was first released, and it does have the artist mark. However, she has a Just like You doll from a few years back, and it does not have it.

Raggedy Ann was first introduced as a doll in 1915. It wasn't until 1918 that she was introduced in the book "The Raggedy Ann Stories". Raggedy Andy was introduced in 1920, in a sequel book, titled "The Raggedy Andy Stories".
