The nine goddesses of the arts are the Muses. Different, ancient authors give different genealogies for the Muses, but currently many people say the Muses are the daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne, goddess of memory. The nine Muses and their respective realms are:
Calliope: epic poetry
Clio: history
Erato: love or erotic poetry, marriage songs
Euterpe: music, lyric poetry
Melpomene: tragedy
Polyhymnia: sacred music
Terpsichore: choral song and dance
Thalia: comedy
Urania: astronomy
There isn't an exact god for art but if anyone is in charge of it it would be Athena.
The nine muses, Greek in origin, also belonged to the Roman myths.
Actually it wasn't a goddess. There were 5 of them and they were known as the Muses.
