Big City Philadelphia aka Phillip D. Esposito is a Philadelphia based rap artist, best known for his song "How To Rob An Industry Hipster", which is a remake of 50 Cent's "How To Rob". Big City is also known for his affiliation with Roc-A-Fella Records recording artist Beanie Sigel and State Property. Due to his history of ongoing legal issues, Big City never released any official albums until the Spring of 2009, when he dropped the self-titled mixtape "Big City Philadelphia", which included the popular anti-hipster track. The YouTube video for the song was a top 15 viral video on the web. Notorious hip hop critic Byron Crawford was one of many bloggers to post the video, which generated immediate controversy in the blogsphere. The term "hipster rap" is now often associated with Big City Philadelphia because of that song.
